Words From Dr. Shauntel Peak-Jimenez, Ph.D.
"I had a vision to create a unique and fun association that serves women life coaches. One that educates, empowers, and elevates women life coaches personally, professionally, spiritually, and financially. One that enriches the essence of women and helps them win in life and in business. I didn't want The International Association for Women Life Coaches (IAWLC) to be a traditional membership model. I wanted it to have it's own flavor of uniqueness.
I have learned that God will never call us to do anything that doesn't allow us to be who we authentically are. And I don't believe in doing anything that hides my creativity and purpose. We can achieve greatness without sacrificing our true self. I want to work with women life coaches all over the globe and inspire them to leap into their divine power, and continue to create positive change in the world.
I started on my successful living journey over 25 years ago. I was a single mother living on welfare, and barely surviving. I decided that I needed to do something different. I was blessed to blast through obstacles that were blocking my success path. During my times of not having enough I had to flip my mindset. I then went on to pursue higher education that allowed me to increase my self-worth and my finances.
Through faith, God's grace and years of climbing the success ladder, I eventually landed in a corporate nursing position that I loved, and I had a great income. And I worked there for many years. But then in 2009 my job was eliminated (due to corporate downsizing). I took my knowledge, education, coaching background, wisdom, and personal experience and decided to take a leap of faith into the coaching profession. I launched a international life coach training company, The Character and Self-Esteem (CASE) Institute http://www.thecaseinstitute.com, which is still going strong.
I understand the frustration and struggles that can come from running a coaching business. I understand the challenges of trying to balance it all. I also understand the frustration and fear that can come from not having enough prosperity in your life. I also understand the need to have an abundance of peace, joy, and finances.
When I lost my corporate job I was hit by the economy in a way that I never imagined would happen to me, and I had to discover ways to prosper mentally, spiritually and financially. It wasn't always easy, but through faith, determination and perseverance I thrived and flourished. I now live my life with abundance and joy. And through my frustration and challenges I have learned principles and strategies to help you do the same.
I believe every woman life coach has the ability to release her greatness and attract and manifest what she truly desires. I believe that every women life coach should be fully expressed in a amazing, brilliant, and radiant way. This empowers her to reach her highest potential. I also believe that as women life coaches many of us have settled for less for way to long, and it is time for us to tap into our inner power, and unleash who we truly are inside. Not who others say we are or who we should be, but the divine us that was uniquely created to thrive and prosper, in business and in life. My viewpoint is gaining the approval of others is not worth losing your joy, your peace, or yourself.
I believe that every woman coach should embrace her authentic self and live bold, confident, and courageous. I also believe that every woman coach should let the real her emerge, and live her life rich emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and financially!"
Peace, Blessings, and Success,
Dr. Shauntel Peak-Jimenez
